ABOUT US

A pack of seven, five kids, and a whole lot of sawdust “Hétfarkas” — “Seven Wolves” — sounds like it could be the title of a folk tale, or a children’s song. But our name isn’t just a flight of fancy: there’s a real family behind it, from a small village called Szihalom in Heves County, Hungary. I’m Linda, the one writing these lines. Together with my partner Tibi Farkas and our five children, we make up the pack — and together, we design and craft every one of our colorful, hand-friendly wooden figures. We adults share the design and craftsmanship between us — from sketching the pattern, through woodworking, to painting. Our children, meanwhile, provide an endless source of inspiration — and no toymaking company could ever find better quality inspectors than them. 😊

How our figures are made

Our wooden toys are made with enormous love and the greatest care, from untreated hardwood, painted and varnished with child-safe materials. In our collection, everyone can find a figure to love — from birds gently floating on a pond, to cows grazing behind a fence, to creatures living in the ocean, on the savanna, or even in the icy Arctic. We’re especially proud of our figure sets showing the life cycles of bees, frogs, butterflies, and potato beetles, as well as our sets bringing classic fairy tale scenes to life — all designed to help little ones learn, through play, about the small wonders of the world around them. From willow trees to icebergs, you can shape your favorite creatures’ habitats with all kinds of accessories and terrain pieces — and of course, we’re always preparing seasonal and holiday-themed pieces too!

We’ve been creating together for 5 years now, from a tiny village in Hungary, out to the whole world.
